Many rail commuters will know the Aberdare service is ‘missing’ a train from Queen Street between 17.45 and 18.45 on weekdays and Saturdays. I have been in discussion with the network since being elected, and am proud to be able to announce that there will be a passenger service at 18.15 from Queen Street permanently from December.

Even better – the service will be added on a temporary basis between now and December, starting Saturday 10 August. However, this is based on freight services not needing the line, so please check before travelling.
