“We were very impressed by the quality of this year’s entries. It was a hard decision to pick a winner but we offer our congratulations to Cariad for her excellent winning design.
“I held my first Christmas card competition for local primary school children in 2003 to showcase the talent in Cynon Valley schools. I am glad to work with Vikki to celebrate the work of children and young people in our area.”
Vikki Howells AM said:-
“After receiving so many impressive designs from local schools, Ann and I chose Cariad’s entry which will be used on the Christmas cards we will sending out this December.
“Ann and I want to place on the record our thanks to schools and children who took the time to enter the competition, to library staff for hosting our prize-giving event and to the local businesses whose sponsorship made this possible”.
Special thanks to all the sponsors:- Accessible Wales, Alwyn Rees Motorbody Repairs, Bradleys Coffee, Flowers by Joy and The Morgan Fish Bar.
