Response from Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board
“We thank The Campaign for Safe Emergency Care across Cwm Taf Morgannwg for their contribution and welcome their starting point in striving for safe and efficient services that are as close to home as is medically and logistically feasible.
“We also welcome ongoing discussion with the Campaign and our communities on how we can best achieve this and work together to find solutions to the very real issues we face in delivering emergency services that are safe and sustainable.
“We are already working to respond to suggestions which have been put forward to strengthen our community services and increase access to key services such as our local minor injury units.
“We are grateful for all ideas, contributions and engagement with this work and will continue to have these important conversations so we can listen to people’s suggestions and concerns.”
