Constituency
- Cut the ribbon at official launch of Cwm-Unity Big Bocs Bwyd at Cwmaman Primary School.
- Met with the Headteacher at Pontypridd High School.
- Regular catch up with Transport for Wales bosses.
- Attended GCSE art exhibition in the Maesgwyn Special School base in the former Aberdare railway station building (pictured with Corey Hooker).
Senedd
- Hosted Senedd event for the League Against Cruel Sports.
- Attended technical briefing on the Welsh Government’s Coal Tips White Paper.
- Scrutinised Welsh Government Ministers for Economy and Rural Affairs in the Senedd’s ETRA Committee.
- Meeting to discuss support for people with diabetes in care homes.
Welsh Government
- An ambitious plan setting out 26 actions to eliminate new HIV infections, improve quality of life and end stigma by 2030 has been published by the Welsh Government.
- The Education Minister provided an important update on the roll out of the new curriculum in secondary schools in Wales.
- More support will be available for the Welsh film industry thanks to a new and simplified Welsh Government funding package which will help create quality jobs in the sector and generate at least £12 million for the Welsh economy over the next two years.
- The Welsh Government has launched a new vision to secure a bright future for Wales’ retail sector.
